Cuba experienced another nationwide blackout on Sunday after the country's national electricity grid collapsed, according to the state-run utility, Union Electrica.
The outage follows three nationwide blackouts in July and comes as a US-imposed oil blockade further strains the island's ageing energy infrastructure.
Since October 2024, Cuba has suffered several nationwide power outages due to malfunctions in power facilities, hurricanes, and other factors.
