Secretary of State Antony Blinken discussed with President of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Mirjana Spoljaric Egger the humanitarian situation in Gaza Strip.In a phone call, Blinken stressed the importance of the role carried out by the International Committee of the Red Cross in responding to the situation in Gaza, noting the urgent need to strengthen humanitarian efforts in the Strip.The two sides also discussed efforts to enhance the protection of civilians and the necessity to expand the flow of humanitarian aid throughout Gaza Strip.
